So, if you didn’t know, the other day Joe Biden said
They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.’
You know, Joe could have just answered in a way so as to not suggest physical violence as the way of with dealing with a bully. But I digress.
That excerpt prompted the following Tweet from President Trump:
Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 22, 2018
So, the leader of the free world in one Tweet has demeaned Joe and threatened that he would beat him soundly, which is ironic, because he then tells Joe not to threaten people.
Really? Is this what we’ve come to in America? Where one man (who rumor has it might seek the Democratic nomination in 2020, although I would doubt that) talks about “beating the helll…” out of someone like President Trump and then the President feels the need to dignify the remark with an equally undignified remark?
It’s sad, really.
But…if it came down to a fight, I think Joe Biden might win. He seems kind like he’d dance around like a tiger waiting to pounce while Trump used up his energy.
