I was reading my friend Dennis’ latest post on his Perfect Song Blog about conquering writer’s block. It inspired me to actually sit down and do some writing on here.
So, what have I been up to? Well…let’s see. There’s work, which is just as busy as ever, but that’s a good thing, if not a tad overwhelming at times. There’s church and church-related activities, including drumming, PowerKidz (our Wednesday night kids group), and our enrollment in the Christmas Cantata, which just began practice last night. There are also a host of other things that seem to occupy our time somehow.
But life is good. I can’t complain a bit. I have great friends and family, and even as I’m writing this I’m chatting with a long sort-of-lost friend, and I have a God who has promised to love me and be with me always. Life can’t get much better than that.
